Four Men Down

I feel a little weird writing this to you.

But for some reason I felt compelled to.

My name is Jim Labadie.

I'm 35 years old.

I played football when I was in high school.

Four guys I played with back in the day are already gone.

Mike and Kevin died of cancer.

Dane died from a heart attack thanks to drugs, alcohol and Marlboro Reds.

Paul was in the World Trade Center on one of the top floors on that day in September.

I think about these men every so-often just to remind myself how short life is. How precious life is.

It's New Year's Eve Day as I write this.

The perfect time, I think.

Do what you love.

Be great at it.

Be grateful for it. For all of it.

I love you all.

Your friend,

Jim Labadie

The Spelling Bee Champ

The Spelling Bee Champ

One of the first emails I read when I got back from my vacation was from a woman who isn't too happy with my spelling.

And it's not the only one I have received lately.

Apparently I don't take the time to spell check.

That's true.

I typically tear through these emails very quickly. They only take me, for the most part, a couple minutes to write.

And while I do apologize for my spelling, I do want to make something clear:

The most important thing you can do when you write emails like this is to get across the FEELING you want. You want to convey EMOTION.

I literally FEEL as I type. My faces twists and contorts. I MOVE around in my chair. My adrenaline gets pumping.

The RUSH is amazing and when I get to the PS, well, the last thing on my mind is spell check.

But alas, I will do my best. I will take the additional two seconds to make sure I'm putting my best foot forward.

And thank you to the readers who brought this to my attention. Your point is valid and duly noted.

I will do my best.

Hope you still love me.

Happy New Year!

The Hard Way

The Hard Way

Carol and I just got back from a trip to Key West for Christmas.

And I gotta tell ya, I'm still so relaxed I'm having trouble just typing this. ;-)

Seriously, if you've never been to Key West to see a sunset, well, it's one of those things you really need to put on your list.

One night we were hanging out at the infamous Sloppy Joe's Bar for a beer and some live music.

And while the band was far from the greatest, I did hear something very interesting come from the lead singer.

More than likely, you've heard it before, too. It was one of those moments where the singer takes a moment to say, "Thanks so much for coming to see us tonight and spending your hard earned cash..."

And there it was.

"HARD earned cash"

While it can set you back a couple mill just for a condo in the Keys, a quick look around the room had me guessing that the audience was the Hard Earned type.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all.

My uncle is a retired sheet-metal worker. My cousin makes a very good living with great benefits at Home Depot.

You won't find nicer or more generous people than them.

But personally, I don't want to do things the Hard Way.

Not when the tools, systems and strategies to do things much easier are within easy reach.

How about you?

Stay tuned for more of what I learned in Key West.

Who loves ya? ;-)

Happy New Year!

17 things you MUST think about

17 things you MUST think about

Jayson Hunter, the head of R & D for Prograde Nutrition sent me this.

He found it in a Real Estate investing magazine.

In a brilliant move by him, he keeps a copy of it laminated by his desk.

And since I follow very closely the behavior of both successful AND unsuccessful fitness pros, I HIGHLY recommend you pay close attention to numbers:

6
10
16
17

There are others like numbers 8 and 11 which are much more obvious.

But pointing out the obvious doesn't help you.

You'll see what I mean at:

Create Raving Fans By Screwing Up?

My Operations Managaer Michelle called me the other day with a customer service issue.

It seems our fulfillment company had sent the wrong product to a customer.

And while I will take full responsiblity for what happens in my business, well, I didn't put the product in the box.

But it doesn't matter. If there is a screw up we have to make up for it. And we did in a big way.

The customer wrote back to us how thrilled they are with our customer service and our over-delivering.

Do I write this to tell you how great we are?

Not exactly.

Why would I write about one of our screw ups?

A) To subtly let you know we are human and we do make mistakes. But we do make up for them as best we can.

B) I believe we have been able to take a bad situation and turn it into an incredible positive. I hope it has created a raving fan for us because the customer knows we are listening and genuinely care about then.

C) This is what I really want to get across to you:

There are so many companies out there in all types of industries that are so friggin' terrible at what they do it really shouldn't be that hard to succeed.

Seriously. Business is really pretty cut and dry. There are steps to take. Systems to put into place. You do a lot of focused marketing. You take great care of your customers.

Is it really that hard?

No.

It's just work.

It's passion.

It's desire.

It's persistence.

It's making mistakes and learning from them.

Most of the time your competition is so inept you can't help but succeed!

Who loves ya? ;-)

Happy Holidays!

Jim Labadie
http://trainandgrowrich.com/products.htm

PS- I've got LOTS of products that will help you. But don't take it from me. Take it from my customers:

"Just a little history here...6 months ago my husband was a personal trainer at a health club. We had talked on and off about having our own business. Someday. We came across Jim Labadie's website, and the first product we ordered was Velvet Rope Marketing. That was enough to inspire us to get more active about starting our own business.

Next we ordered the Ultimate Sales Kit. There was a bit of a mess up with the order, and we had the pleasure of meeting Michelle, Jim Labadie's assistant. He made a good choice when he added her to his team. The customer service she gave was exceptional, she always was quick to respond to emails, and she corrected all the problems we had.

Then Jim Labadie called us at home. He didn't have to. Michelle had already fixed the problems we had, and taken care of the situation. But I guess he was putting into practice what he preaches in his products. Overdelivery. A quick phone call on his part made a huge impression on this end.

We have run into so many places that give such crappy customer service. It is always such a nice surprise to run into a someone who really takes care of his customers. That is how Jim Labadie is.

It was in May (so about 6 months ago) when we first found Jim Labadie's website. In July, we moved to a new city to start our own fitness boot camp business. In September, my husband began with 2 boot camps. In October, we added 2 more bootcamps. In late November, we are adding a fifth camp. Next week, we are bringing on an intern, with the hopes of adding a new location in February.

And if it weren't for Jim Labadie and his very inspiring and effective products, I know that we would not be where we are today.

I just wanted to publicly let everyone know that Jim Labadie really does over-deliver. We have experienced that first hand. And as for his products, well, everybody already knows that they are the best there is out there. Thanks, Jim."

9 Steps to Success from Scratch

9 Steps to Success from Scratch

I get a lot of emails from trainers who are very successful, but have recently moved and need to start all over again from scratch.

Case in point:

"Hi Jim,

Thank YOU for all of your informative emails and great products; Success with Bootcamps, and public speaking...

I wonder if I might be able to ask you a question.

I recently moved to Collingwood, Ontario a small town of 16,000 people to be with my boyfriend and left my successful personal training business in the city behind.

I know it's going to take some time to start making some good muney again, because not nearly as many people know me here, yet.

I'm wondering what you, Jim, would do in this situation?

I would love to hear from you!"

Happy Holidays!

Sarah

****

My response:

Thanks for the kind words! And congratulations on the move!

It's a great question, Sarah. Here are some things to do:

1- HUSTLE!

2- Get out to networking events and groups and clubs...everywhere and anywhere your target market is found.

3- Ask around to find out who the most influential people in this small town are and take them to lunch. Pick their brain. What do they think you should do to get the word out?

4- If it's a small town there might not be too many companies to speak at, but try to find some places to present Lunch and Learns. Speak anywhere and everywhere you can.

5- Get in touch with the local publication(s) and find out how you can contribute articles, etc.

6- If you train women and there are only a couple of places in town where they get their hair done, well, train the most popular stylist in exchange for them promoting the heck out of you to everyone who walks in the door.

7- HUSTLE!

8- As you can see, there's plenty to do, but something I think everyone needs to be focused on in 2008 is running their business the right way.

- Cutting costs

- Building systems

- Develop consistent marketing

My friend Pat Rigsby cracked me up one day on a Trainer's Inner Cirlce call when he said most trainers run their business like it's the lawn-cutting summer business of a teenager!

Hey, it's freakin' true.

More than anything else, 2008 is the year to get serious about running a BUSINESS and not just a paid hobby.

So that's why I highly recommmend you follow step 9.

9- Get Pat Rigsby's new http://PTWealthBuilder.com program that gives you a 28 Day, Step-by-Step Plan to create a true business.

It's a comprhensive plan for just $67 if you get it before Friday. Then it goes up $30.

If you like throwing darts and hoping your "business" will one day be on auto-pilot then please don't listen to a word I say.

But if you want to actually make your life easier and take the guesswork out of things then get Pat's new program. It's 100% guaranteed and it's $67.

No brainer.

Get Unheard of Results

Happy Monday!

I just wanted to share this with you real quick.

Trainer's Inner Circle member Jeff Nemeth posted this on the program's forum last week.

****

My week so far:

*Sold five new 1 on 1 clients

*Launched a group training program with 25% of my space pre-sold

*Brought back one new customer that had been gone for one year--in '06 this customer was worth $6k and referred another 5k in business

*Extended my on-air radio promotion (Biggest Loser type program) through the end of February

*Secured my first corporate boot camp for January '08

*Secured two PCPs as referral partners

What did it take? Less thinking, more action.

****

As soon as you stop thinking so much and MOVING in the direction of your dreams they start to come true.

It's all there for the taking, so take action this week!

Switching to Semi-Private Training

I was recently asked this question:

"Jim, do you have anything on HOW to switch over from on-on-one to (semi-private) group training?

We are looking to make the switch here soon and I am not sure how to go about advertising and getting people to make the switch in their head and just wondered if you had written anything about it.

Thank you!

Susan
Columbia, SC

It's a GREAT question, Susan. And to answer it I enlisted the help of the man who knows more about it than anyone.

That being written, here is the answer from the one-and-only Alwyn Cosgrove:

****

First understand that the clients are not responsible for finding the group anymore than they are responsible for finding other people for a group exercise class.

As for thinking that clients may be resistant to change - ask yourself : Why do clients think that one-on-one is superior?
Where did they learn this?

They learned it from you!

Step one: Stop offering one on one training - all new clients must do semi private training.

Step two: Either honor the deals you've made (and allow existing clients to do one on one)- or create big incentives for existing clients to change.

****
I know people have more questions about semi-private training. And Alwyn is coming out with all the answers for you. Stay tuned.

URGENT: The George Mitchell Report

URGENT: The George Mitchell Report

By now, you have probably heard about the George Mitchell Report.

Yes, the report that exposes the widespread use of steroids and HGH in Major League Baseball here in the States.

And you have probably noticed more the trainers and strength coaches involved.

While the vast majority of the controversy stems around the players themselves, it's not exactly a shining moment for our profession.

So here is what I am asking everyone on my list to do - you included.

Write a Letter to the Editor to your local paper in response to these events. Simply let them know your thoughts as a fitness professional.

That's it. It's as simple as that.

We'll have thousands and thousands of these letters going to print media to tell our side of the story.

Make a difference today.

Who loves ya? ;-)

- Jim Labadie

It Really Is Unbelievable

When it comes to trainers and business, well, nothing really shocks me.

It just doesn't come naturally to us. It sure didn't for me.

I've had to do a lot of learning and have worked with a lot of coaches to get to where I am today.

But I like to think some things are obvious.

Like putting your location on your website.

Or letting people know where your boot camp is actually held.

But alas, I come across at least one trainer website per week that I have ZERO clue where they do business.

So here is your homework for the weekend. Please ask yoursef this:

What simple and obvious things like my location or hours of operation am I missing on my website or other marketing materials?

If I was a prospect looking for a trainer or a boot camp and I couldn't immediately find that on your site - I'm gone.

And if you do in-home training is that crystal clear?

Anyway, I love ya no matter what.

Have a great weekend!

Instant Internet Success For Trainers!

I'm not an expert at everything.

I know, I know...you're shocked!

But something I am an expert at is getting the right help.

In fact, I was talking about this on our latest Trainers Inner Circle call just the other night.

If you need help in an area then find the best person you possibly can.

I like to think I'm pretty damn good at certain things.

Others I flat out suck.

So Jayson Hunter and I needed help with the ebook projects we've been working on we turned to the same man who has helped the likes of:

- Tom Venuto of Burn The Fat

- Craig Ballantyne of Turbulence Training

- Celebrty Trainer Victoria Johnson

- Chad Tackett of Global Fitness

It's a no-brainer.

I've said it many times before:

If you want to be the best, you learn from the best.

Period.

Do you have any idea how successful the people in the above list are?

It's ridiculous!

That's why we're working with the man himself.

And it's why I recommend you find out everything you can about him by visiting his site, reading his special report and checking out his book.

You need to read it. You want to read it. You have to read it.

Well, if you want your fitness website to pull some serious traffic that is.

Find out about the man "behind the scenes" by visiting this site: http://DynamicWebMarketingSuccess.com

And what does it cover?

Everything you need including:

- Search Enginge Optimization

- Affiliate marketing

- Podcasts

- Blogs

- And a lot more

Look: you simply cannot compete anymore if you do not have an outstanding web presence.

Whether you're running boot camps, a studio or going the info-product route your life is going to be a whole lot easier with this resource.

What I Remembered At The Tire Shop

Last week I was in CT speaking at a Fitness Together event about http://GetPrograde.com

On my drive home from the West Palm airport I got a flat tire on I-95 during rush hour.

Not a lot of fun. And if you've ever driven on 95 around the West Palm area you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I went to a local tire shop near my home because I had to replace the tire.

While I was there the manager asked me, "Where do you take your car for regular maintenance?"

"The Mercedes dealership 30 minutes away", I told him. "And in fact, I have to take it in for it's 24,000 mile service in just a couple days."

I'll make a long story short:

This Saturday I'll be taking my car to HIS business to have the routine service done.

It's going to save me time and moolah.

It's obvious what it does for his business.

And all because he asked.

So what are you NOT asking your clients?

Of course a simple example could be:

"What brand of post-workout shake do you use and where do you get it?"

The guy at the tire shop turned what I thought was going to be a one-time transaction into a lifetime customer with ome simple question.

What would happen to your profits if you asked every single client you have the post-workout shake question?

And if you work with a company like http://GetPrograde.com that features an autoship and a 30% commission...

Labadie's First Holiday Gift to You

I often talk about my friend and customer BJ Gaddour.

Why?

1- He took my http://howtoprofitwithbootcamps.com/ kit and went from making $22 per hour training one-on-one to six-figures almost overnight.

2- I interviewed him for a product on how to take boot camps to the next level called http://sixfigurebootcamps.com/ where he revealed to me that he takes 15 weeks of vacation per year!

Well, today I am writing you because BJ has some extraordinary information for you.

I'm proud to be able to offer it to everyone on my list because it will make 2008 incredibly successful for anyone who gets off their butt and puts his advice to work for them.

I've just finished reading it and I'm blown away.

It will absolutely blow you away too.

And it's a gift to you.

PS- http://howtoprofitwithbootcamps.com/ is the product that changed it all for BJ:

"Hey Jim,

Just wanted to let you know your Boot Camp Start-Up kit is SO well done!

I listened to all the audio cd's and had every one of my questions answered. Furthermore, the cheat sheet that came with it was extremely convenient and effective.

I recently created a proposal to run fitness boot camps for a local corporation. The company leadership absolutely loved it and they have already committed to the goal of running a '4-6 week on, 1-2 week off' boot camp for their employees for the rest of the year!!!

I already had an 'in' since I train both of the CEO's of the company, and I helped one of them to lose 100 lbs. of body fat in a year to the date of the meeting we had.

But the professionalism and 'attention to details' approach of your Ultimate Boot Camp Start-Up kit without a doubt sealed the deal and gave me the initial idea to move forward with the proposal.

Since it is a pilot I offered a discounted rate of $99/hour, but still look to make up to $500 per week of pure profit from just this camp alone!!"

Set the Tone for Success in 30 Seconds

When public speaking you really want to bond with your audience right away so come up with something that shows you are an expert, but also human.

Here's an introduction I've used in the past to get the audience laughing before we even started:

"While at the University of Delaware, Jim Labadie managed to be a Dean's List student by incorporating a steady diet of study, volunteer work, Jack Daniel's and Taco Bell.

It was this strict lifestyle that allowed him to graduate not only with a degree in Fitness Management, but also 40 pounds fatter than you see him today. A reformed party-animal and fast-food junkie, Coach Jim is a passionate fitness entrepreneur, speaker, coach and consultant.

He has appeared in Redbook, Men's Fitness, Self and if you watch local news on Fox, NBC or CBS you've probably seen him there, too."

As I teach in http://AmazingFitnessPresentations.com , the person who booked you to speak will typically be the one who is going to introduce you. Make sure they know to read word for word the introduction you have created.

If you don't specifically hand yours to them right before you go on and request it they very well may resort to just reading straight from your bio.

Boring!

It's happened to me so be sure they introduce you the right way to set the tone for a great talk.

Who loves ya? ;-)

Yours in prosperity,

Jim Labadie

PS- A fitness PROFESSIONAL understands his audience is filled with people who very well may be intimidated by anyone who is physically fit. And that is why they go to great lengths to bond with their audience.

Public Speaking for Fitness Professionals

Public Speaking for Fitness Professionals

Public speaking is not only a great way to prospect for new clients and/or boot campers ; it also builds your credibility as an expert.

I'm often asked by Fitness Professionals how they should go about getting booked for talks.

When I tell them to pick up the phone and call people - just like I do in my http://AmazingFitnessPresentations.com course -they nearly pass out at the very thought of having to make a "cold call."

So when they come back to their senses I gently explain most of these groups meet weekly and they need a speaker at each meeting.

That means they need someone willing to come in and speak for free in a bad way! Believe me; they are dying to hear from you.

And they are super easy to find as well.

If you belong to a networking group of some sort I can almost guarantee you they'd love to have you speak.

Ask people such as your clients what groups they belong to and whether or not they have speakers.

All sorts of religious organizations have meetings with speakers.

Search the internet.

It's simple!

When you call them just ask for the person who books speakers. They'll gladly tell you who it is and how to get in touch with them.

What do you say when you get them on the phone?

"Hi, I understand you're looking for speakers for your meetings. Is that correct?"

I'm confident you can handle it.

They'll then ask you what you talk about. I think every single time I've ever told someone my talk is on fitness they'll all responded with the same answer:

"We could all use that!"

PS- Do you have any idea how much moolah you can make in 2008 with Boot Camps and Public Speaking combined?

PPS- Do you realize that Public Speaking to groups shouldn't cost you more than a couple of gallons of gas to get to the event and can fill a boot camp in less than an hour?

No Limits Life

The other night my girlfriend Carol and I were doing some online dreaming.

The game is very simple:

You've got all the moolah in the world, so you can afford anything - and I mean ANYTHING - you want.

There are no limits. You dream as big as you can.

So we were checking out some Maserati's, Mega-Yachts, Private Jets...all sorts of stuff.

When we started she said, "I really like that car, but it's too expensive."

I quickly reminded her, "When you dream, you dream as BIG as you can."

Believe me, from there on out she had no problem spending loot!

There's something else I really want to emphasize:

It's not the "stuff" that matters, it's who you're with.

So...

Imagine driving down the California Coast with the love of your life in a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet...

Imagine taking your entire family - and I mean EXTENDED family, too - on a dream vacation.

Imagine renting a Mega-Yacht for a week long cruise in the Mediterranean, so you can have a blast with friends from college and their significant others.

Imagine anything you want. Dream anything you want. Anything that excites you.

I've been a dreamer all my life. But I've also taken action, too.

Dream big dreams. Then move in the direction of those dreams.

You'll be amazed at what happens.

One Good Reason To Miss Appointments

I wasn't too happy when I saw my flat tire.

Even worse, I was on my way to meet with a prospective client.

And since I confirmed those appointments by telling my prospect, "the only way I won't be there is if I'm dead", well, I had to make it.

So I called a cab and let the prospect know what had happened and that I might be a couple minutes late.

But I made it there. I did NOT miss that meeting.

Now while you might think this method to be extreme, I will tell you that when your prosect hears you say those words they know you are damn serious about them showing up.

It is exactly the method I teach for confirming appointments in my http://HowToGetMoreClients.com program.

Does it always work?

No, some people will let you down.

BUT...

...it will give you the very best shot at them keeping up their end of the bargain.

Oh, and as a rule: If a prospect does not show up for an appointment, and they have a valid excuse, then reschedule them ONCE.

If they miss that second one...never again.

Who loves ya? ;-)

"Simple. Convenient. Effective. Prograde Nutrition is all that and more.

Changing people's lives is hard enough as it is without considering the deadly barriers that arise with any nutritional deficiencies your clients may have.

Prograde eliminates these barriers and allows elite health and fitness pros to focus on what they can control and what they do best: systematically delivering the most rapid and lasting results around!

Though I would be a Prograde Pro regardless of the substantial passive income that comes with it, I certainly have no problem collecting it!"

Help More People

(Some words intentionally spelled wrong)

********

So I'm sitting on a couch in a multi-millyun dollar home talking to a guy who has no interest whatsover in hiring my company to get his lazy you-know-what in shape.

"I don't have that kind of muney on hand", he says as I come to the conclusion that this was a complete waste of my time.

"Yeah, right", I'm thinking to myself. "You've got a seven-figure home but you don't have a couple of bucks to save your own life."

Amazing.

So how did I get there? Why was I talking to a guy who was in desperate need of improving is health, but had no desire to do it?

Because I didn't know any better at the time. That's why.

One of my clients had referred me to her friend. That friend wanted to hire me to train her husband.

But the husband only agreed to meet me for one reason: So he could keep his wife off his back about his detiorating health.

Moral of the story: Never meet with anyone you've never talked to. Never meet with anyone unless they are dying to meet with you.

That was before I really put up the "Velvet Rope" in my business.

It is exactly why you should put a "Velvet Rope" up around yours.

My http://HowToGetMoreClients.com and http://VelvetRopeReferrals.com work in concert with one another to attract the clients you WANT to work with and "close" them within minutes.

Just think: You'll never have to meet with some lazy SOB ever again who doesn't want to do the work necessary to literally save their own life.

I wanted to help him, he wouldn't let me.

That's why I'm a big believer in helping every person who WANTS help as much as you can.

You cannot help people who do not want to be helped.

You can still love them, but you can't help them.

Who loves YOU?

You know the answer to that ;-)

"What can I say about Jim's materials?

I'll tell you this - Labadie really understands the 'inner game' of sales and marketing. I wrote the book on starting and running a martial arts school, and I've also purchased a ton of business training materials over the years... I can honestly say that Jim Labadie stands head and shoulders above his peers in a very crowded field.

Why So Many Emails?

I'm often asked, "Jim, why do you send so many emails?"

Very, very simple:

1- I love it. I absolutely love writing them. It's one of my favorite things to do.

In just a couple of minutes I can share information with trainers all over the world.

And that information helps them grow their business.

Which, in turn, means they are helping more people live better lives.

What's better than that?

2- I run an internet business.

I've tested sending so many emails and I believe because I'm not a "brick and mortar" kind of business I can send one a day.

I'm not certain that I could otherwise. That is something you would have to test for yourself.

However, if you run boot camps or have your own studio I highly recommend you email your list at bare bones minimum once per week.

3- If I send 1/2 the emails, I make 1/2 the moolah.

And yes, I've tested this, too.

I've been doing this for years so I know my list very well. I know what I can and can't do, for the most part.

As I've written in the past, you really have to look at the 80/20 rule.

In my case, it's probably more like the 90/10 rule.

Meaning, 10% of my list - the ones that make up 90% of my revenues - are the ones that really, really love what I have to say.

They are the trainers I have helped the most.

These are the trainers who want to hear from me often.

Now, I care about and respect anyone who is smart enough to read my stuff, but the fitness pros I care about most are the ones who allow me to pay my bills.

And those are the people you need to care about most.

If you can't accept that fact then you have some belief systems work that needs to be done before you will ever become a successful business owner.

Anyway, hopefully that explains it. I'll continue to write a lot of emails because I hear from that 10% everyday.

And they always write the same thing:

"Keep the great stuff coming!"

So I will.

And I'll love every minute of it!

Who loves ya? ;-)

RE: Can You Velvet Rope A Boot Camp?

Ironiclly Jim, I began this policy a few months ago, and actually say those exact words you mentioned in your email, when a prospect calls or emails me, in regards to our fitcamp. I make it very plain that whiners will not be tolerated at any level.

I have no problems telling a prospect that if they want someone to hold their hand, don't plan on busting their butt but having fun doing it, just want to join our fitcamp just to say they belong to one and brag that they have a trainer, or if they are only inquiring to shop for a fitcamp, then this is our fitcamp is not for them.

I also tell them to leave their daily issues in the parking lot.
JoshOne Fitcamp is where they come to let go of the stress, not build on it.

It's amazing how making our fitcamp family so exclusive and mysterious, really drives a prospect to want to sign up immediately and work really hard on their very first day. We're talking about the majority of sign ups who have never had a structured fitness program in their life.

In order to add to the mystique, when asked what my fitcamp entails, I explain that whatever their experiences or perceptions of gyms, personal trainers, workout DVDs and TV shows, or even other bootcamps have been....through them out of the window.

What we do is presented differently. I try to make my fitcamp as unique and individual as I am, and I think that's what helps me continue to receive a high retention and new referral rate.

In regards, to referrals, I reward my fitcampers with a $20 rebate for every referral that signs up (of course their is a 3 referral limit per session). This policy has helped my fitcamp membership go from 15, 6 months ago to 40, currently. Just about everyone loves receiving money or saving on their sign up, so this has proven to be a great quality membership-building tool for me.

In the beginning, my current fitcampers felt all of the new sign ups would be overwhelming, and may bring in clashing personalities.

However, everyone is having fun. Especially since most of our
exercises are done in 2 - 3 member teams, as well as most of the new sign ups are fitcamp member referrals. After all, it is true that you are the company that you keep. Thus, most new referrals work just as hard as their friends or family that were already enrolled.

I now this email is a little long; however, I have owed you a
testimonial for 2 years now, and a lot of great milestones have
happened since I bought your http://www.HowToProfitWithBootCamps.com Kit 2 years ago.

I've had regular news segments on our local Fox affiliate (3 of
their morning show producers have all been fitcampers), been featured on local radio, spearheaded a "Biggest Loser" contest for one of our Clear Channel stations, as well as participated as team JoshOne Fitcamp, in quite a few local and online charity events.

My next move is to expand into 2 of the outermost surburban parts of Houston, as well as take my fitcamps to the next level, by pondering on some of the ideas I get from listening to your latest "6 Figure Bootcamps" Kit, in which I just purchased. Keep the good stuff coming!

Jim, and I will definitely keep you up to date as I prepare to take my fitcamp business to 6 figures in 2008. Much success to you, bro."
